This is a great idea. In Europe there wass a pilot of a Red Cross application which enabled people to contact and ask for help, such as a blind person who became disoriented on their normal walking route which had road maintenance happening.
Hope this turns into a commercial application. Just a shame that mobile data is so expensive here in New Zealand, so it wouldn’t get used on an ad hoc basis for more than potential emergencies.
